Arqam Ayubi is a seasoned and dynamic chartered and management accountant, in the field of Assurance and Risk Advisory Services with more than 20 years of experience. Prior to qualification, he has served four years training with a top ten chartered accountancy firm. Since 2002, after getting chartered accountancy and cost and management accountancy qualification, Arqam has worked in various capacities and roles in the practicing businesses including, around 3 years with KPMG Oman, 2 years with Deloitte Ireland and 9 years with Crowe Global Oman. Prior to joining BDO Pakistan he was leading and managing a practicing firm in Karachi. He is also a certified information system auditor (CISA) who also leads and manages information system audits relevant IT audit components of financial audits.
Arqam Ayubi has become a Partner in BDO Pakistan (Karachi office) from July 2022 and before that he worked as Director Assurance Services for more than 1.5 years. Prior to joining BDO, Arqam worked in the practicing industry and is having expertise in various industries’ audits including financial services industry (including small banks, leasing companies, NBFCs, mutual funds and securitizations), oil & gas industry, manufacturing and SME sector audits while he is well-experienced in managing independently a portfolio of audit clients and providing end-to-end services on a regular basis and other related assignments. Strong at relationship building and business development with proof of expanding client base and client retention.
He writes articles and speaks at various topics of interest and expertise at briefings on clients premises and in seminars. Arqam is an excellent IFRS resource with in-depth knowledge of IFRSs and practical insight with a solution-based grip. Arqam has been a presenter on various in-house IFRS learnings and trainings.
