Sajjad Hussain Gill

Sajjad Gill is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor from ISACA, USA. He has over 26 years of professional services experience in EY and PwC in Pakistan, UAE and Afghanistan, including 14 years as Partner Assurance with EY Pakistan.

During his tenure at EY, Mr. Gill has led its Assurance practice in Lahore and Islamabad offices and he specializes in Telecom, Medial and Technology, Utilities, Energy and Power. He has extensively travelled to Middle East, Europe and United States for attending EY’s internal training courses and work shops on leadership and technical accounting and auditing matters including US GAS.

In Pakistan, Mr. Gill has been lead audit partner on audit of large corporate clients including, in TMT - Telenor Pakistan, Pakistan Telecommunication Co, Oracle Pakistan, Systems Limited and Avanceon Group; in FMCG - Shezan International and Fauji Foods and Shakargunj Foods, in Energy and Utilities - Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited, Uch Power and Huaneng Shandong Rui Power Plant(Coal based IPP near Sahiwal), Lahore Electric Supply Co, Gujranwala Electric Power Co, Islamabad Electric Supply Co, Faisal Electric Supply Co, National Transmission and Despatch Co, and Central Power Generation Co.  Mr. Gill was also lead audit partner of WAPDA Hydroelectric and related certification of the Offering documents for issuance of WAPDA Green Bonds on LSE, UK in 2021. Mr Gill has extensive development sector experience, such as USAID, DFID and UN agencies.

Mr. Gill has also served as an elected member of Northern Regional Committee of the ICAP for 2013-17 term and was also elected as its Chairman for 2017. He has also been member of Technical Advisory Committee of ICAP for 2016 and 2017.
