Tariq Feroz Khan

Tariq Feroz khan completed his Chartered Accountancy in  2001 from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and is its Fellow member since 2010.

He joined BDO Pakistan as Partner Assurance services from July 01, 2022.

Prior to joining BDO, he worked in EY Ford Rhodes ( Member Firm of EY in Pakistan - Ernst and Young EY International – one of the big four accounting Firms )  as Partner Assurance services from July 2007 to June 2022 .

His career spreads over a long association with EY over 31 years which includes 15 years as Partner and rest in different ranks. At EY, his main responsibilities included serving various domestic and multinational clients including various global accounts of EY in the sphere of audit and assurance services. He has a vast experience of entities operating in engineering, Pharmaceutical, distribution, consumer goods, textile and power sector entities. He has also executed various assignments including audit assignments of international donors like USAID, DFID etc in Kabul -Afghanistan on behalf of EY Pakistan. His expertise includes knowledge and implementation expertise of International standards of Auditing and International Financial reporting Standards.

He was charged with the responsibilities of Partner responsible for maintaining Firm’s Quality and Risk management and Independence Function of the firm . The responsibilities included ensuring compliance with EY Global Risk management and Independence policies and designing various Firm wide processes and procedures to facilitate compliance and establishing protocols to address the deviations, if any . 

He completed his four years article ship from Ernst & Young, Karachi office in 1995 after completing Commerce graduation in 1991 from Karachi University.
