On 1st January 1951, Mr Ebrahim Dahodwala founded Ebrahim & Co. in Karachi. He was the first chartered accountant in Pakistan and was the first elected president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Pakistan. The firm soon acquired a reputation for delivering quality services and became one of the most successful firms of the post-partition period. The firm was primarily involved in delivering quality audits, taxation, and corporate secretarial services.
